This Privacy Policy explains how MeraUdyog (“MeraUdyog”, “Company”, “we”) handles information in connection with the MeraUdyog platform, websites and applications (the “Service”). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions. By using the Service you consent to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account and contact information, names, email addresses, phone numbers, organisation details and role.
- Client Data, the leads, contacts, employees, attendance, communications, documents and other records you and your users create or upload while using the Service.
- Usage and device data, log data, IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, actions taken, and analytics collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Communications, messages, call logs and recordings, and support correspondence handled through the Service.
2. How we use information, and the Company’s rights over data
We use the information we collect, including Client Data and personal information, to operate the Service and for the Company’s legitimate business purposes. In particular, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company may process and use data submitted to or generated through the Service for:
- providing, maintaining, securing and supporting the Service;
- quality assurance, monitoring, auditing and service improvement;
- training, developing, evaluating and improving our software, models, algorithms, analytics and artificial-intelligence features;
- research, statistics, benchmarking and the generation of aggregated or de-identified insights;
- developing and offering new products, services and features;
- communicating with you about the Service, including service and marketing messages; and
- any other lawful purpose the Company considers appropriate.
You grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable right to use data in aggregated, de-identified and derived form for these purposes, including after your subscription ends. The Company reserves all rights in insights, models and materials it creates using such data.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with: service providers and sub-processors who help us operate the Service (hosting, communications, analytics, payments); third-party integrations you choose to connect; professional advisers; and authorities where required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the Service. We may also share aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage (including through Google Analytics). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
5. Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information and Client Data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. We may retain aggregated and de-identified data indefinitely.
7. International processing
Information may be stored and processed in India and in other countries where we or our sub-processors operate. By using the Service you consent to such processing.
8. Your choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information by contacting us. Some data must be retained for legal, security or legitimate-business reasons, and requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law and our contractual commitments. Account holders are responsible for requests relating to their own users’ data.
9. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
