MeraUdyog (Mera Attendance) Our product
Attendance and payroll on one data core, with sales, support and branch analytics next to them.
Mera Attendance records presence by GPS and selfie, geo-fence, biometric, web and offline mobile check-in, then handles shifts, rosters and regularisation. Attendance feeds MeraUdyog Payroll on the same core, and every branch, plant or centre is a first-class location, so an owner can compare sites side by side.
Where it is lighter: Newer and smaller than the established HR suites, with a younger partner ecosystem. No ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certification yet, and no public REST API yet. It is not an attendance-only specialist.
Best for: MSMEs with several plants, branches or field teams that want attendance, payroll and the rest of the business in one system.

greytHR
A long-established HR and payroll platform with a deep statutory payroll page.
Its attendance page lists GPS live tracking, selfie attendance, GeoMark geo-fencing, web sign-in, third-party attendance hardware, shift rotation and auto shift detection, and online regularisation. Its payroll page lists PF with ECR, ESI, professional tax, eTDS with Form 24Q and digitally signed Form 16, and says it serves over 10,000 businesses.
Where it is lighter: The pages we checked did not state offline check-in or how attendance flows into payroll. Check both in a demo.
Best for: Companies that want a mature HR and payroll suite and are happy to evaluate attendance as one part of it.

Keka
An HR suite with strong biometric and device integration.
Its page lists GPS tracking, selfie matched against the employee database, facial recognition, geo-fencing, integrations with biometric, smart card, RFID and NFC devices, shift boards with automatic rotation, regularisation, and says attendance is fully integrated with Keka Payroll. It describes recovering offline logs from biometric devices.
Where it is lighter: Web check-in was not named on the page we checked, and pricing is behind a request or trial flow.
Best for: HR teams in mid-size and larger companies that run biometric devices at scale.

Zoho People lists web and mobile check-in, AI-verified face images, IP and geo-fence restrictions, biometric integration, a facial-recognition kiosk and regularisation. Zoho Payroll lists PF, ESI, LWF, professional tax and income tax across 28 states, payslips on web, mobile and WhatsApp, and bank advice for online payouts, with attendance and leave built in.
Where it is lighter: Shifts and rosters were not described on the People attendance page we checked.
Best for: Teams already running other Zoho apps that want everything in one vendor family.

RazorpayX Payroll
A payroll-first product with salary payouts built in.
Its page says it automates TDS, PF, professional tax and ESIC with tax filing, issues payslips on the dashboard or WhatsApp, provides digitally signed Form 16, and pays employees, interns, contractors and freelancers directly. Attendance comes from an HRMS sync or time-and-attendance partners such as Ubitech or Jibble.
Where it is lighter: Its own attendance capture, GPS, geo-fencing and biometric were not stated. You bring attendance from somewhere else.
Best for: Businesses whose main problem is running and paying payroll correctly, and who already capture attendance elsewhere.
Vendor page
Truein
An attendance specialist for contract and multi-site workforces.
Its page lists face recognition, GPS geofencing with location-stamped clock-ins, kiosk onboarding of temporary workers, offline clock-ins that sync later, shift scheduling and over seventy custom policies. It integrates with payroll and other systems and names facility management, construction, logistics, staffing, retail and manufacturing.
Where it is lighter: It is attendance-first, so payroll runs in another system through an integration.
Best for: Contractor-heavy and multi-site operations where attendance capture is the main pain.
