Why it exists
In India, most sales, field and telecalling teams call from their own mobile phones, not from a desk phone wired to a cloud system. Regular call analytics only measures calls that go through cloud telephony, so all those real calls go unrecorded and unmeasured. SIM-based call analytics measures the calls the way they actually happen, on the rep’s SIM.
How it works
- It reads the call log. The mobile app picks up every call on the phone (any SIM, dual-SIM too) and matches it to a lead.
- It records on the phone. The call is recorded on the device over the normal mobile network.
- It syncs to the cloud. The recording and details upload and attach to the lead.
- It reports. Connection rate, meaningful calls, call length and missed calls add up by person, team and branch.
SIM-based vs cloud-telephony call tracking
Cloud telephony needs virtual numbers, per-minute billing and a steady internet connection. SIM-based call analytics needs none of that. It uses the rep’s real number, costs you your usual carrier plan, and keeps working in weak-signal areas because the call is saved on the phone and uploads later.
