Questions
Good to know
What is an experience letter?
A letter from an employer confirming that a person worked there, in which role and for how long. New employers and banks often ask for it.
Is an experience letter the same as a relieving letter?
Not quite. A relieving letter confirms the employee has been released from duties. An experience letter describes their role and tenure. Many companies combine both.
Who should sign an experience letter?
Usually the HR manager or an authorised signatory, on company letterhead.
